My Pro Tools 8 will not launch, it just hangs on start with no error message to be seen. This is happening on a Windows machine with Internet Explorer 8.

Some users have reported experiencing problems opening Pro Tools after installation with Internet Explorer 8 installed on their machine. An uninstallation of the IE 8 upgrade has shown to solve this issue. This was found in M-powered and Pro Tools
