Q:
While installing Syncrosoft license control center, I am getting an error message that says "The file 'C:\\Windows\system32\msvcp60.dll' could not be opened. Please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory. Access is denied" and the installer will not complete.
A:
Browse to the C:\windows\system32 folder and locate the file msvcp60.dll.
Right-click on the msvcp60.dll file and choose Properties Click Security tab Click Advanced button Click Owner tab Click Edit button Click Other User or Group and type in: NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller Then repeat this step, go to the Owner tab and choose your current user name and make sure Set to owner is selected for your username and hit ok. It should then set ownership rights and say ok to the windows onscreen and retry the install. You may also try to right click the syncrosoft installer and click Run as Administrator.
