How do I use the R16 as a software control surface?
A:
The R16 emulates a Mackie Control. Connect the R16 via USB directly to your computer.
See p.16 of the R16 Recorder: Interface Controller manual for a step by step guide for setting up the R16 as a control surface in Cubase software. See p.29 and following for setup in Logic 7/8, Sonar 7/8, Live 6/7 and Digital Performer 5/6. Refer to your software's product manual for Mackie Control setup for other host software.
