Program change format must be set to "Extended" on the recieve page in the Midi mode.
Two Prgm changes are necessary one after the other inserted in an Event list window.
The first one will define the bank:
Prgm Chg Bank
100 0-99
101 100-199
102 200-299
103 300's and so on.....
The second will define which program in that bank. Thus a program change like this one..

......will bring up program # 429 for that track and assigned midi channel. This program change would take place almost exactly on the first beat of the song. Program changes may be sent in this manner at any point in a song, or sequence.
