Q:
Why can't I get CardD to record and playback correctly while using SAW? Configuring SAW to run with CardD and CardD+
A:
When SAW is loaded into the computer the first time it will ask which card you plan to use. If you loaded SAW in for another card and now decided to use it with CardD or CardD+ then you will have to reload the program. First you will have to either delete the whole directory or you can get away with just deleting just the *.PRF file in the SAW working directory. When you reload the program it will then ask you which card you are using. Make sure that you choose the correct CardD. The program will not work correctly if you have a Card+ and you chose CardD. Secondly, make sure that the CardD driver IS NOT loaded in the Control Panels/Drivers. SAW uses it's own driver and will conflict with a Windows loaded driver. Third, try selecting different DMA controllers from SAW's Hardware configuration.
