You need to use the correct driver for the Midi Express PC. Why doesn't Session8PC see my connected ADAT through my Midi Express PC?

The Session8PC scans the port looking for connected ADATs. If you are using the Midi Express PC interface with driver 2.01 the computer may lock up or do other weird things. You will need to get an older driver version. Version 2.0 has worked fine.

Digidesign is aware of this incompatibility and is currently attempting to update their software. This problem has not been fixed as of 10/26/94.
