Megamix doesn't like to read time code backwards. Tascam told him to hook up a midi cable form the SY88 to the midi 2 input on the IFI8. Take the SY88 and flip the #2 switch up and pull out the card. On switch #2, turn off #6 & 7. That allows it not to read time code in stop or fast wind. This doesn't take care of SMPTE...Tascam is working on software for that because they have had lots of complaints. He'll talk to you more when he has a chance.
