There are jumpers in the H3000dse that need to be moved - they are directly behind the XLR input connectors.
The positions of the jumper for different levels are shown in the owners manual


unbalanced I heard you have to go inside the unit and change something to run it at unbal -10 level. Is this true What do you do? I have a customer waiting to use one he just bought from us. Thanks
