To check what version of operating system is currently resident in you JV1080:

Press shift and enter; then while holding the "up and down" buttons press the "value" button. After doing this you will have to restart the JV1080.

The latest version is 1.03 and it is strictly a bug fix..
It must be soldered in, (some units have chip sockets) and this must be done through factory authorized service. Roland does not send these out to end users.

Upgrade is covered on a warranty claim even if unit is out of warranty period. Shipping not included.
