Error 02 and several other error messages indicated by "Error xx" are listed in the maintenance manual as "FATAL" errors and to contact Yamaha service. These units MUST go back to the factory for repair. Contact Yamaha for warranty period and RA.

The newer MD4S and MD8S will be field repairable.
