Q:
Using drum channels on the K2000 & how many drum channels are on the K2000 K2000 Drum Channels
A:
Q: Any Kurzweil Program with more than 3 Layers must be played on a Drum Channel?
A: True Q: The K2000 has only one Drum Channel? A: Sometimes true. A K2000 with OS 3.54 or higher *and* P-RAM will have 8 Drum Channels. A K2500 has 8 Drum Channels. A K2600 has 16 Drum Channels all the time. Q: Does that mean that some Programs from our Soundware CD-ROMs will only work if played on a Drum Channel, such as Session Drums? A: Yes. But most of our CD-ROMs use primarily 3 Layers or less. The major exception to this is our DrumCD which often has 31 Layers. Each of the 5 GM Drum Kits from the DrumCD features 3-Layer and 31-Layer versions.
