Can I use more than one US-428 in the same computer
A:
Multiple US-428's could be used to provide additional controllers. However, the USB spec is limited to six streams of audio, so additional US-428's will not give you additional audio I/O.
While most computers have more than one USB port, they are sharing a single USB buss and controller, and therefore the same USB bandwidth. (A possible solution if you need more audio I/O would be to run another audio card, like the PCI-822, as your audio device, and use the US-428 for controller function.)
