My Mac tells me to allocate more memory to my program. How do I do this? How to allocate memory to a application on the Macintosh

1.Make sure no programs are running.
2.Open the application folder
3.Get info on application icon
4.Choose memory from pull down menu
5.Always leave minimum size at default size
6.Change pefferd size as needed.
