Q:
Authorizing software and plug-ins with the VST USBFloppy (most commonly with ProTools, Samplecell, and ProTools plugins)
A:
If you experience problems using the VST "USBFloppy" drive to authorize on a Mac, try the following:
1. disable the "USB Floppy Enabler" using Extensions Manager *** Don't confuse this with "USB Floppy Support", or "USB OpenInterface....". Those need to stay ON. 2. Restart the computer, mount the keydisk, and run the (de)authorizer program to install the key onto one of your hard drives. 3. Use Extensions Manager to RE-enable "USB Floppy Enabler", and restart once more. Verify that you have the latest drivers for the VST floppy drive at www.vsttech.com
