Q:
I have a CD player with a optical out.
I want to go into my DAT with it , but it
doesent work.
A:
1.Try a different optical cable.
2.Make sure that the DAT is set to "External " clock and Optical is selected , NOT S/PDIF or AES/EBU(Some times there is a Dip switch on the back of the Dat ),
3.Make sure the CD player is sending clock out of the optical out.(It probably does it automatically)
4.Make sure the Sample Rates match (CD's are 16Bit 44.1k)
