Q:
My sampler gets stuck at the waiting for hard drive page. What's going on?
A:
This usually occurs when you connect or disconnect a SCSI device with power applied. This will cause SF1 to blow out the SCSI board. If this happens, you will need to get the unit serviced. The lesson here, of course, is: ALWAYS POWER DOWN BEFORE CONNECTING OR DISCONNECTING A SCSI DEVICE.
