Q:
Q. How can I increase the polyphony of Unity DS-1 and/or Retro AS-1?
A: A. There are a coulple of ways to do this: 1 Unity DS-1 or Retro AS-1 Control Panel Buffer Length: Increase the value to increase polyphony. This parameter can affect the note-on to sound-out response time. If you are not playing the synth "live" (for example, you are using a sequencer and the notes are already input), you could increase this value. 2. Unity DS-1 or Retro AS-1 Control Panel Maximum CPU %: Increase the value to increase polyphony. How high you can go depends on your CPU speed and other applications you are running concurrently. 3. You may also use a lower sample rate, but 44.1 or sounds the best in most cases.
