How do I get Digital Performer to recognize the faders of the US428?
A:
step 1: insert your TASCAM US428 CD and double click
step 2: find the Digital Performer plug in Folder - inside there should be a small ICON that represents the US428 step 3: Open your Macintosh hard drive and find the Digital Performer Folder - inside there should be a folder that says PLUG INS step 4: place the small ICON from the TASCAM folder into the PLUGIN folder of DP and close down all windows... step 5: open DP and start a new file.. step 6: go to the basics menu and chose the selection of CONTROL SURFACE SETUP step 7: you will see 2 selections - HARDWARE and MIDI COMMUNICATION step 8: in the HARDWARE section, please click the little down arrow and chose the US 428 step 9: in the MIDI COMMUNICATION section, please choose the US428 Control Port and O.K. that command and now your ready to use your US428
