How to create a new program in the K2500
A:
step 1: In your program Mode, hit the EDIT key
step 2: hit your left MORE button (1X) until you see NEWLYR step 3: hit the soft button NEWLYR to produce new layers until you have as many as you need step 4: hit the right MORE button until you see KEYMAP step 5: hit the KEYMAP key .. which will alow you to chose the core sounds of this program each time you want to change a layer, hit your CHAN/BANK key and change the sound of that layer... when you are done editing and finding the patches that you require... hit the left MORE button (2x) until you see the SAVE command step 6 : hit the SAVE key.. which whill bring you a page that says SAVE AS and you will have the choices to RENAME< REPLACE< or CANCEL... and once you have chosen to rename or replace - your program will be saved...
