1) Launch Logic
2) highlight one of the Audio Instruments
3) Go to your Mixer Page
4) bring up the EXS24 on the highlighted AudioInstrument
5) hit the EDIT button - which brings up the SAMPLE EDIT page
6) hit the MINImenu file button and the last option in the dropbox is AKAIconvert
7) once you hit this- the sample page will bring you a blue BOX that has 4 columns -
in those boxes you will see the words WAITING FOR AKAI DISK
once you see this, then insert your AKAI sample disk and the Logic wil bring up the data
