Q:
How do I connect a subwoofer to my mixer?
A:
A: All the outputs on the compact pro series mixers are full range outputs. There are no sub frequency outputs. To connect a subwoofer to your mixer you’ll need a crossover. So you’ll need to crossover the full range main mix outputs. Connect the main mix outputs to the crossover inputs. Select the crossover frequency. Then take the outputs and feed them off to the amplifiers that will be powering the subwoofer and/or the full range audio. If this is mono setup (which is commonly the case with subs since there isn’t any stereo separation at those frequencies) you can use the main mono output, which has its own level control also.
