Can I assign/ de-assign the Talkback to the Monitor outs?

Yes, hold down the Option switch and press the Talkback switch. The Output 1, 2 and 3 switches will light, indicating which outputs will have Talkback routed to them. Pick your outputs, and then press Option and Talkback again to exit.
