Q:
johnson J-Station: I am still unable to link up my J Station with the J Editor on my computer? I read through all the manuals and checked all my connections, but I am still getting an error message saying no J Station was found on any available MIDI ports.
A:
Be sure to check the following:
1) The switch on the back of the J-Station MUST be in the position closest to the MIDI ports. 2) MIDI out of the computer must be connected to the MIDI in port on the J-Station. MIDI out of the J-Station must be connected to the MIDI in on the computer. 3) The J-Station must be updated to version 1.1 or better to work with J-Edit. 4) The MIDI interface of the computer must be free of any resource conflicts within Windows.
