Q:
How do I fully uninstall my M-Audio Delta card in Windows 98 / ME?
A:
Midiman now has an automatic uninstaller on their website, www.midiman.com which will work for Windows 98 / ME only. It may work for Windows 2000, but will not always get all the files. It will also not always work for the Roland Studiopack's PCI card. Manual removal is suggested in the latter two situations.
Remove the card from the device manager and don't shut the comptuer down if it requests you to. Search the hard drive (Start-Find-FIles & Folders) for *delta*.* and delete anything found matching this search in the Windows folder. Be careful if you have unzipped the drivers onto a directory on your hard drive not to delete them. If you are uninstalling the Roland Studiopack, also delete the RPC1cpl.cpl. Then reboot the computer and allow plug 'n' play to install the card (with the cdrom or newly downloaded drivers)
