Q:
Why won't my drive spin up?
A:
Obviously, the first thing to check is that there is power to the drive. Check to make sure the AC is active and that the power cord is plugged in firmly. If the power light on the front of the case is lit and the fan is blowing, there is power to the case. Some hard disk drives will not spin up until connected to an initiator (computer / sampler) and the initiator is turned on. If your computer is off, try turning it on. If the drive still won't spin up, contact the Glyph Tech / Service Department.
