Q:
I'm having trouble using my MIDISPORT 8x8 with the Asus A7V motherboard in Windows.
A:
A compatibly problem has been found involving the use of the Midisport 8x8 with the Asus A7V motherboard. If the BIOS is updated to version a7v1005c.awd or above, the 8x8 will not work correctly in USB mode. The unit seemed to lose sync shortly after MIDI data was transmitted. Changing the BIOS version to a7v1005a.awd will resolve the problem.
