Q:
Why does Cubase VST 5.0 pop up a bunch of windows when I change my audio settings with my MOTU in Windows 2000?
A:
This is a known bug if you go into the Options-Audio-System and go to the ASIO control panel and change a setting, then return to Cubase. The system will open a cascade of error windows and probably will crash the computer. Until this problem is resolved, you'll need to exit Cubase to make changes to the IO settings of the MOTU 2408, 1224, 24i, 1296, or 308.
