how do I install a new operating system

Power the unit off and turn it back on and hit the EXIT key when you see the
"Please Wait" dialog come across the screen. (watch carefully, it does happen rather quickly)
This brings you to a page that says K2600 Boot LOADER
The first option is INSTALL SYSTEM - choose this option
Which brings you to another screen that says DEVICE TO INSTALL FROM -
choose your floppy drive and hit OK
it will ask for your 1st disk - once that is loaded -it will put the cursor on to the RUN SYSTEM, but you must scroll back to INSTALL SYSTEM to load your second disk.

If you have BASE and ROM objects to complete.. after you are finished with the 2nd OS disc.. scroll your cursor over to INSTALL OBJECTS and start with you BASE obj 1st, then ROM - following the same procedure that you used for the OS...


Once this is done, restart your machine...
