Quckstart : Setting up a Nord Modular, Nord Micro, etc to use with Modular Editor (Mac) software.
A:
1. To use the Modular Editor, Be sure to connect midi cables to the PC IN and PC OUT connections on the Nord, and not the MIDI IN/OUT.
2. Modular editor requires OMS for midi communication. If you don't already have OMS, you can download it at opcode.com 3. Configure OMS. (a) be sure that OMS detects your midi interface * (b) from the Studio menu, choose New Device, and select a Clavia Nord Modular. (c) Save OMS and QUIT. 4. Launch "Modular Editor" software. 5. Go to the the SETUPS menu and choose "MIDI..." 6. In the MIDI Setup window, click ENABLE at Port #1. 7. Under IN on Port #1, choose "Nord Modular", on OUT on Port #1, choose Nord Modular. 8.
