I'm running an Audiowerk8 card along with a Pro Tools III system and when I play audio from the Audiowerk8 card, I get PAD Overload error messages. What's going wrong?

You will likely get this message if the audio you're trying to play via the Audiowerk8 card is originating on a drive connected to the Digidesign SCSI bus. The remedy is to record/playback Audiowerk8 audio files on drives other than the Digidesign SCSI bus, i.e. the Apple or other SCSI bus.
