Q:
When I change my 2408 setup in 1 song and then open another song in DP - the previous setup travels over... WHY?
A:
whenever you change the BANK - a/b/c setup of the 2408 that Data becomes the last template used - which basically becomes your default setup...
But let's say that your current song doesn't use the same setup or even furthermore - sometimes you work with All ADATs and sometimes you work with ALL Analog or whatever... What you would do would be to open a NEW file in DP and go into your Basics menu >Audio System> Configure Hardware driver - and make your setting changes.. then save that song as say as ADAT template - then go back into DP again and hit NEW file and make your settings for your Analog Setup and save that as ANALOG template - now whenever you want to work in the ADAT domain - you will open your ADAT template first, then open your song data accordingly as the same follows for your Analog set as well
