If users under Win 2000 run into any problems with the Intel 800 family
chipset and our PCI-324 and MIDI have them try these updates:

system how the chipset components will be configured. This is needed for
the proper functioning of the following features: - Core PCI and ISAPNP

Support - Identification of Intel Chipset Components in Device Manager"

If users are upgrading to XP and are also installing the PCI-324, have them
update their bios with this update. It's recommended for device installs for
Win XP:

BD81XPP1.exe - found on Dell's support website.

support.dell.com: "This BIOS is intended for users that wish to install
Windows XP. See the Dell Windows XP page for further information.
The following change has been made to the A09 BIOS to create XP1:
If A09 is used with XP, the lack of a driver for the ACPI-based support
will cause a 'yellow bang' in device manager which cannot be removed."
