Was there a recall on the 1st L2 Maximizer Hardware pieces by Waves?

There was never really a recall but there were known problems with the 1st run of L2 hardware boxes...
Lots of people reported bad knobs or buttons - bad leds - audio outputs failing and numerous other manfacuter defects.
The way you can tell if you have one of these boxes is if you look on the belly of the piece and it was made in ISRAEL, then you know that you have a bad one... If it was made in TAWIAN, then you know you have a good one
