If Peak reports a -2807 error when launching on a Power Macintosh, make sure QuickTime, QuickTime PowerPlug [Quicktime 3.0 if you are using Peak 2.0], Sound 3.3, and MathLib are installed in your extensions folder. Macintosh system versions 7.5.3 and later should have MathLib built-in, so don't worry about it unless Peak complains about missing libraries. If you get this error and you are running QuickTime 4, please re-install QT4 and be sure to choose to install the FULL (authoring) version when you run the installer. You can get the Installer for the FULL (authoring ) version of QuickTime 4 from Apple's site.
