How to set up a multi- timberal performance?
A:
1) press the [Perform] key, then press the [Edit] key, this will put you in performance edit mode.
---note--- a performance should be selected prior to entering edit mode, also make sure the [Master Keyboard] LED is not lit. 2) Use knob [A] to select parts; after the part you want to modify is selected.. 3) Use the page knob to the MIX VCe screen. Here is where you specify which voice you want to be assigned to your selected part. 4) Use the page knob to scroll to the LYR Mode screen, (layer mode). Set your RcvCH (recieve channel) to whatever channel you would like your Part to respond to. repeat steps 1-4 to set up additional Parts in your performance. Follow these instructions to save your performance After editing a performance press the [Store] key, Use knob [1] to select the destination performance memory (INT or EXT). Use knob [2] to select the destination performance number. This will be the Performance Memory/Number to which your performance will be stored. When you press enter you will be prompted for confirmation. After choosing Yes to confirm you will see the message "Executing..." When the job is completed you will see the message "Completed" and you will be returned to the Performance Play Mode.
