Beta software is software that's not quite completed. Generally speaking, all of its features are in place but some rough edges remain. A worst-case scenario involving beta versions might result in an inability to use some functionality of the software.

If experiencing a crash or some instability with the Viewer will discourage your enthusiasm for this exciting new means of music distribution, we suggest waiting for the general release version. If, on the other hand, you'd appreciate the chance to experiment with this software before its official release, please do so.

If you encounter problems not listed there, manufacturers usually have a special email address for problems with beta drivers. You might want to use this to describe your problem so they can resolve it in their next release of the drivers.
