First, download the newest XP drivers for the 828 from motu.com Unzip them into a folder you can remember later. Go to Windows control panel, add/remove programs, and select MOTU 828. Restart the computer. When it comes back up, it will ask for the driver disc. Don't insert the 828 CDrom, just point the hardware wizard to the unzipped directory. It should install from there.
