Creating a Performance
A:
A Performance allows you to use multiple Patches at the same time. It can be used to layer Patches together or split them and assign them to various notes on the keyboard. You can also assign Patches to different MIDI channels for use with an external sequencer. Use the following procedure to create a Performance:
1. Press PLAY to choose the Performance Play screen. If the current Performance is empty, the Patch name for each Part will be set to "Off." 2. Use the CURSOR buttons to highlight the Patch name (Off) for Part 1. 3. Use the VALUE DIAL to select the desired Patch. 4. Use the CURSOR buttons to highlight the Patch name (Off) for Part 2. 5. Use the VALUE DIAL to select the desired Patch. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to select Patches for the remaining Parts as desired.
