However, if the Smart Media is formatted on a device other than the SU200, problems may occur; you must format it on the SU200.* SSFDC is an abbreviation for Solid State Floppy Disk Card (another name for Smart Media). The SSFDC forum is a voluntary organization that was created to promote the use of Smart Media.
