Q:
Can you explain the outputs of the Midiman Digipatch?
A:
The optical and coaxial (RCA) outputs of one numbered output (when using s/pdif) are always reflecting the same signal.
On a particular output (when using them as S/PDIF), both the optical and coaxial will have the same output signal. So a coaxial input 1 routed to target 3 will be sending both the optical and coaxial signal.

Can I route one input to multiple outputs on the Midiman Digipatch? How do I differentiate between optical and coaxial inputs and outputs on the Midiman Digipatch? I want to synchronize the unit to MIDI clock because my sequencer doesn't support MTC (MIDI Time Code), but I am not sure how to do this. |
