Q:
How can I tell if the MTPAV - parallel is being initialized correctly?
A:
One quick check which may not work in all cases is to watch the front panel lights when Windows is booting up. If all lights flash once, Windows successfully setup all ports. If only in and out lights flash once, it was recognized but the ports are probably not available. If nothing flashes, there is no communication and the drivers won't be loaded at all.
