Q:
How do I set the Timeline in ProTools to stay at the point where I pushed Stop?
A:
In ProTools go under “Setups” then “preffrences” and choose “Operations”
CHECK “Timeline insertion follows playback”. Then go under "Operations" in and make sure "Link Edit and Timeline Selection" is Checked. Now when you play, and then push stop, your timeline stays where it was halted.
