Q:
How do I partition my hard drive for more than 2 partitions on Windows 98 or ME?

A:
Go into Fdisk from an MSDOS prompt. (Start-Run, type FDISK and hit Enter) Select your drive.

You will need to create a Primary DOS partition.

Then, create an Extended DOS partition using the remaining space on the drive.

It will then say No Logical Drives are defined, define now? Answer NO.

Go to Create Partition, Create Logical Drive, and select the size of your 2nd partition.

Repeat the last step for all other partitions on your drive you wish to create until the Extended DOS partition is fully used up.

You will need to reboot for the partitions to be activated, and then format them.

We recommend formatting the drives from within Windows because it is much faster than from within DOS.
