Q:
How can I test to see if my Kurzweil 2000, 2500, or 2600 is transmitting MIDI?
A:
Connect a midi cable from the out to in of the keyboard and press the MIDI button, and the 4th option is Control. Set this to MIDI. The Kurzweil should now play as normal, with all the messages going through the midi cable and jacks. You can monitor the activity by going to Master, Utility, MIDI, and the screen will go blank (except for DONE) until midi is received.
