My PC doesn't find my AKAI S-XXXX using SCSI, what can I do?
A:
On the Windows platform, SCSI support for a few samplers has been dropped in version 1.7 and later. This is due to the fact that these samplers are not Windows 95/98 SCSI compatible, and the sampler manufacturers have no plans to update them. These samplers are:
Roland S760 AKAI S1000 AKAI S1100 AKAI S2800 AKAI S3000 AKAI CD3000 AKAI S3200 The only option is to use MIDI transfer instead of SCSI on these models.
