Q:
How do can I create zones for using Motif as a Master Controller?
A:
In [Master] Mode, push [F2] Memory. Here you can select the type of Mode (Voice, Performance, Song or Pattern) and the Memory location that will be stored in the Master Program. When a Performance is selected as the Mode type a Zone Switch on/off appears in the right hand side of the display. Set this to On.
Push Edit to enter Master Edit, then push button [1]-[4] for to select the 4 different zones. Set the parameters as you like (the parameters are covered on page 271-273 of the manual) and then store the Master by pressing the [Store] button and following the prompts. Hint: In Master Mode Zone Edit F1 [Transmit] setting the TG Switch to Off allows you to have independent PC, Volume and Pan settings for your internal sounds and external modules.
