Q:
How can I set the Alesis AI3 to generate 44.1k sample clock? Can it operate at 44.1k? I'm not getting any input from it.
A:
The Alesis AI3 will not generate 44.1k word clock itself, only 48k. It will, however, clock to an incoming 44.1k signal with no problems. Simply hook up the inputs to a device which is set on Master word clock (or internal word clock sync) and the AI3 will automatically switch to external sync and lock to the 44.1k clock.
