On the sampling option there is a Hiz and LowZ input.. what is the difference?
A:
when the sampling option is installed in your unit there is a set of inputs that are shown as HiZ and LowZ. The HiZ is actually an Unbalanced input that has no real gain structure. So the manual recommends using a Mic Pre when sampling with this input... The LowZ is actually a balanced
input that has a set gain structure where it is not necessary to use a Mic Pre.
