Q:
Instructions to Create an Alesis Masterlink OS disc using Toast
A:
1) Download the latest OS ISO image file from the Alesis Web Site (alesis.com). For Mac
users, the ISO file should be available in HQX format. 2) Install and open Adaptec's Toast application. 3) From the "Format" pull-down menu, select “Disc Image”. 4) Using Aladdin’s Stuffit Expander (or similar program), expand the HQX file into the OS ISO image. Drag the icon into the Toast document and drop it in the “Disc Image” window. 5) Insert a blank CD-R into your machine and click the “Write CD..." button. 6) Click on the "Write Disc" button. Do not select “Write Session". 7) Wait for the burning and verification process to complete and press “Eject CD". 8) Remove and label your CD.
