You can monitor one pair of outputs at zero latency from within the 896 hardware and drivers. You can choose which input to monitor from within the 896 console.

Some software can monitor all inputs with some latency. Software which can do this includes Emagic Logic, Steinberg Cubase, Nuendo, and Wavelab, Cakewalk Sonar, and a few others.
